Teratai Chinese Restaurant, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta


Less than a week since my last dinner at Miyama Japanese Restaurant at Hotel Borobudur and I was already back again there to try another restaurant. This time, it was the popular Chinese restaurant named Teratai (it means lotus in Indonesian language), serving mostly Cantonese dishes.

There are total of 4 private rooms  for 6 guests and 1 private room 16 guests.


SOUP
served individually.
Triple boiled pigeon bouillon with dried cordyceps - Rp. 108.000
 

CRUSTACEAN
Live Prawns - Rp. 144.000 (market price)
Prepared flambeed with Chinese alcohol,salt and pepper, garlic, scallion and red chili.

Served as a dish named Drunken Prawns.

Shrimp with mayonnaise - Rp. 168.000 

Deep-fried fish with spicy sambal chilies sauce - Rp. 408.000 (market price)
This authentic Malaysian cookery is only available during May 2015.
We chose the Marble Goby fish or mostly known as ikan malas in Indonesian language.
